2021 La Gurgue offers up aromas of dark berries, cherries, iris and paraffin wax, followed by a medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy palate that's supple and giving, built around powdery structuring tannins.
93 Points - Wine Enthusiast
The wine is aromatic with blackberry fruits and hints of leather. Black-currant flavors dominate, with a juicy texture and final acidity. Drink from 2027. Organic.
91 Points - James Suckling
This fresh and clean red shows plums, chocolate and orange peel with hints of cedar. Medium body, creamy tannins and a juicy finish. A blend of 54% cabernet sauvignon, 27% merlot and 19% petit verdot. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Ready to drink.
