Mount Gay Eclipse Navy Strength Rum
In this limited release, Master Blender Trudiann Branker pays tribute to Mount Gays long standing connection with the Navy. Mount Gay Eclipse Navy Strength Rum, bottled at 57.1% pays homage to the days when rum was a staple aboard naval ships.
- The rum greets the palate with a harmonious blend of deep caramel and bold spice. Notes of vanilla, ripe banana, and toasted nuts follow, creating a complex yet smooth flavour profile.
- The finish is warm, with a hint of oak, enhanced by the higher alcohol content which intensifies these rich flavours.
- Hailing from Barbados, Mount Gay, the world's oldest active rum distillery, has been perfecting its art since 1703.
Savour eat or on the rocks. Its intensity also complements cocktails like a classic Daiquiri, adding depth to the fresh lime, or a Rum Old Fashioned, where the caramel and vanilla notes are elevated. Ideal for those who appreciate a powerful and flavourful rum, this Golden Rum is a standout choice.
